HISTORIA POSTAL DE ESPAÑA.
1º.- 1850. Avila a Madrid. Dirigida a Don Nicolas Melida, Diputado del Reino de España. Una vez llevada a la Administración de Ávila se estampa el Timbre de Fechas de 1842 (Baeza) y se señala con la marca A de abono, PE11 en color rojo con rareza RRR, con el fin de indicar la anotación del porte de la carta en una cuenta especial de dicha Administración, en aplicación del Real Decreto en vigor que establece la Franquicia Oficial y de Autoridades, Art. 4, dado en Madrid el 3 de diciembre de 1845. A su llegada a la capital española, en su oficio de correo se estampa la marca S. y D. recercada en color rojo, indicativa para la franquicia de la correspondencia dirigida a los Senadores y Diputados durante las sesiones a Cortes.
