Una vez llevada a la Administración de Valladolid se señala con la marca AB de abono, en color rojo, con el fin de indicar la anotación del porte de la carta en una cuenta especial de dicha Administración, en aplicación del Real Decreto en vigor que establece la Franquicia Oficial y de Autoridades, Art. 5, dado en Madrid el 3 de diciembre de 1845.
