The collections of Postal History and philately must collect documents and pieces transported by an official or private postal service and present studies on routes and postal itineraries, tariffs and postal effects used in correspondence.

Numismatics is the study, knowledge and collection of coins and paper money issued by a nation with the official design of the country. Within this collection the notafilia is the part that is dedicated to the study, research and dissemination of banknotes and paper money in general.
The study of this hobby and its collecting is of great importance since it allows to observe and acquire knowledge about trade exchanges and the economy of the peoples, as well as its history, geography, politics, religion, customs, among other points. In relation to this is the paleography, symbolism, iconology, art history, among other sciences that serve to provide knowledge about the history of a country.
